The day before

Jenelle and BAM - note that Buzz came too, and the eagle watching!

J2 headed to their pre-op and while they were being schooled on all the particulars of having a baby by C-section at the hospital, their doctor called to give them the great news that JAM's lungs looked GREAT (via the amnio results) that Jenelle could have the C-section tomorrow.  I could hear the relief in her voice!  I can not imagine being able to PLAN when you have a baby - but I do remember the anticipation with being ready to deliver a baby any time!
Josh had work to finish up - and I had planned to go to the Fairbanks fair with my friend Edie - so Jenelle came along - what else do you do the day before you have a baby?  So we walked through the entire fair - which took about an hour - and then Jenelle humored me while I watched the quilts being shown.
A beautiful mural - so looks like Alaska in the fall!
Was a great day, and it didn't even rain!  We headed over and picked up BAM at Nana Barb's, and then stopped by the Cultural Center.  BAM was SO excited to see all the animals (stuffed) in the displays - it is really well done and he is just so cute to watch as he explores and discovers!

POP and Colleen arrive tonight at midnight.  Jenelle's time has been moved up to 9:30am, so we leave for the hospital at 7:30am in the morning.  Sue (Josh's mom) arrived in town from Kenny Lake (5 hours south of us).  Uncle Josh (Godfather of JAM) will be hand also.  Uncle Mitchell stopped by this afternoon, fixed my vacuum cord (mine was pulling out - and since Mitchell had so much experience - he jumped in and fixed it).  He works tomorrow (Fire fighting) but we hope his travels take him to the hospital.
Jeff and BAM will hang out until they come to the hospital to see everyone.   I think everyone is as excited to watch BAM with his new baby brother as they are to see JAM!  Keep us all in your prayers!

BAM with his friends - he was SO excited about the wolf over his shoulder!
BAM wanted his mom to keep the bear away but then smiled broadly with Buzz and Woody held tight!

I thought the plan was for JAM to come on his own on Aug 12th - MY BIRTHDAY! I guess the little guy wanted his own day... I still won't forget his birthday!

Praying for a safe delivery and healthy everybody!
